Lab Report Requirements

Lab Report Requirements:

  • MUST be on loose-leaf
  • AT LEAST 3 paragraphs
  • Written in narrative form
  • Grammar, spelling, and punctuation WILL COUNT
  • Hand-written unless given prior permission

 

Within your report you must discuss:

  1. EXACTLY what we did for the lab or inquiry. (Details = better)
  2. Was your hypothesis correct? Incorrect? Why do you think it was correct or incorrect?
  3. How does this lab relate to your prior knowledge? (Do NOT write: “It doesn’t”!)
  4. What did you learn from this lab? (DO NOT write: “Nothing!”)
  5. Apply this lab to a real-life situation.
  6. Would you and your group have done anything differently during your lab time? Explain whether your answer is yes or no.
